There are 3 types of valuation service that we offer
- Auction Valuation. This valuation is Free and is a guide price for what we would expect to sell your item/s for, either on an online auction or at an auction house, this is not an insurance valuation
- Probate Valuation. This valuation service is chargeable and gives a valuation for item/s to be considered for probate and tax purposes, you need to seek advice from a solicitor to whether you need this service and is usually instructed by the solicitor if relevant to you
- Insurance valuation. This is ideal for people with individual or collections that need to be covered on an insurance policy most insurance policies will cover single items up to a set figure depending on the policy, for example my home insurance policy presently covers any single item for up to £1500, the insurance company usually requires information to what the item/s are.
Or if you are claiming for loss or damage of an item/s the insurance company may need an a written valuation before paying out.
Either way if you have such an item/s it is best to have proof for your piece of mind
