House Clearance
As part of our continued complete service we offer a house clearance service for either full or part clearances. The procedure is quite straight forward in fact, we do all the work, all you have to do is wait for the money.
In most cases you are having to clear a house of a loved one and this happens at a time when the last thing on your mind is, are we going to get the best price for the contents or is the attic full of antiques.
At Want2AuctionIt we love doing house clearances because there is nothing more satisfying for us than finding a treasure and selling it for a lot of money because the more we get for you the more we get for us.
There are various options. All you have to consider is which one best suits your needs.
Firstly let me tell you what's involved behind the scenes and the costs incurred by the clearance agent
- Staff wages these are typically £60 per day per person and a minimum of 2 people is needed to follow health & safety requirements
- The hire of a suitable vehicle this normally ranges from £70 - £100 per day this is not always needed
- Waste costs to dispose of typical household waste, it costs approx £70 per ton this excludes individual items like Tyres, fridges, Freezers, settees & other
- Administration & insurance
This sounds quite daunting but these are the usual costs that are incurred by the clearance agent.
We have the following options
- We remove the saleable items and act as an agents and sell on your behalf deducting any relevant fees for removal and our commission. ( these will all be itemised on your statement) We would sell either on eBay or at auction which ever we feel will gain you the biggest price (more we get for you the more commission we get)
- We clear the entire property including waste, we remove the saleable items and sell by means we consider to be the most profitable for you, We deduct from final monies any costs incurred as mention above, we also deduct our selling fees from everything we sell. You receive a statement detailing all transactions & deductions and a cheque for your sold items. you are left with a bare house
We can also tailor an option which suits you and your circumstances.
